The METRIC (Modernizing European Higher Music Education through Improvisation) Network held its annual intensive program in Helsinki this February. The intensive program gathered together students and teachers from several European conservatoires. It was a week full of workshops, lectures and concerts. Between thinking and doing: Collaborative Reflections from the SibA+RAM Study Day in London
Each year, the Sibelius Academy and the Royal Academy of Music (RAM), London, organize a two-day Study Days dedicated to artistic research. During these events, selected doctoral researchers from both institutions meet, present their work, and exchange ideas.
