New podcast: Life of an Art Student

Uniarts Helsinki’s new podcast, Life of an Art Student, offers insights into student life through interviews and discussions!

On Tuesday, October 29, 2024, Uniarts Helsinki will officially launch Life of an Art Student Pod, which is created by student ambassadors from all three academies. New episodes will be released every Tuesday.

In the episodes, students from all three academies interview each other. The topics range from everyday student life (studying Finnish, developing artistic practices, etc.) to practical tips (managing student finances, preparing for life after graduation, etc.). Feel free to let us know the topics that you’d like to hear in the upcoming episodes!

In December, a mini-series hosted by student ambassador Ellenor Rose Nish revealing different degree programs in Uniarts will be released.

The Life of an Art Student Pod was initiated by student ambassador Rong-Ci Zhang and is produced with the collective efforts from the whole student ambassadors team.

Student ambassadors have used their knowledge in production of the podcast. Mark Reid Bulatovič and Ellenor Rose Nish have worked on sound editing for the podcast episodes. The music piece for intro and outro was composed and recorded by Mark Reid Bulatovič. The cover illustrations for each episode were designed by Anastasiia Lapteva, Haiyun Yu and Rong-Ci Zhang.
