The first edition of the brand new Uniarts Hub pre-incubator programme culminated in the Demo Day event in Theatre Academy’s Tori on November 16th, 2022.

The first edition of the brand new Uniarts Hub pre-incubator programme culminated in the Demo Day event in Theatre Academy’s Tori on November 16^th, 2022. The afternoon started with an Art Entrepreneurship seminar where our guest speakers (Satu-Mari Jansson from TheatreWorks, visual artist Katja Tukiainen and jazz musician Jari Perkiömäki) shared their thoughts on entrepreneurship in the arts industry. Last but not least, the current participants of Uniarts Hub pitched their inspiring business ideas to the audience and got feedback from the expert jury.

The Demo Day event was an official side event of Slush.

The pitching track was moderated by Elsa Ervasti, who also trained the participants in pitching during the Uniarts Hub’s pitching camp in Kallio-Kuninkala.
