“The name of the album refers to a musical connection that I feel very strong with all these musicians. All of us understand and hear things with a certain sensitivity, and are able to react to things quickly. Mastery of the musical language and tremendous craftsmanship provide excellent opportunities for a swinging ensemble! I look forward to making music with these great gentlemen every time “, says Jussi Lehtonen. https://eclipsemusicrecordlabel.bandcamp.com/album/connection

“Jazz is not a what, it is a how. If it were a what, it would be static, never growing. The how is that the music comes from the moment, it is spontaneous, it exists at the time it is created. And anyone who makes music according to this method conveys to me an element that makes his music jazz.” -Bill Evans
