Socially impactful music – invitation to a survey on musicians

We are looking for musicians whose work embraces both musical and social aims.

Are you instrumentalist, singer, choir director, conductor, composer, arranger whose work embraces both musical and social aims, such as inclusion, empowerment, communality, or social activation? If you identify with this description, the University of the Arts Helsinki invites you to participate in a brief survey about your work and individual experience.

How to participate

If you are living in Finland and you would like to participate in English you can do so via a Word document by contacting Sari Karttunen (sari.karttunen@uniarts.fi). We apologise for the inconvenience.

You can find the survey form in Finnish and Swedish on the online platform.

Your responses will be treated with utmost confidentiality. It takes about half an hour to respond to the survey. The deadline has been extended to the end of December 2020.

The research project

The survey is part of an international research project Music for Social Impact that is carried out in Finland, Belgium, Colombia, and the UK.
